Cobalt Shark Characters
T’var
Lord of The Deep. While the other Paragons hold dominion over land and sky. It is T’var, alone, who rules the vast, endless ocean. Worshipped by all Tekovians, from the most decorated admirals to the lowliest of deckhands. Those who choose to sail his seas pay tribute to this Entity for safe passage and good fortune. If there’s blood in the water, T’var is sure to be not far behind.
“He is the calm before the storm, and the stillness before the tsunami. He’s the lightning, and crashing waves that come after, too!”
Jax Uzo
The Great Mariner. Jax was the original founding Paragon of the Cobalt Shark Entity, T’var. A fierce warrior and stern, yet fair, leader. Uzo commanded the utmost respect during his tenure as Paragon. There were not many who dared question Jax’s authority, and those who did were promptly corrected. One of his first adventures as Paragon involved fending off a massive Leviathan from a key island within Tekovian territory. During this quest, Jax suffered a slash across his face from eye to cheek, permanently scarring him for the rest of his life. The people of the island demonstrated their gratitude to their valiant protector by naming their island after him in his honor.

Kravos
King of the Seas, gladiator for the gods, and the Final Paragon of T’var before The Great Fall. Beginning his life on the streets with no known family, Kravos rose from nothing to earn his place as T’Var’s Paragon and leader of The Cobalt Shark Empire. Kravos made his own family as he made his crew. It is said that when he led his army into battle, his soldiers would feed off his fighting spirit and be empowered to take down their foes with ferocity. He’d never turn down a challenge as he needed to ensure his name would be known and feared throughout Zaia for all time.

Teo Ferro
A distinguished sailor, explorer, and marksman. Teodorro’s sharp eyes and keen senses have been honed over the years from his daring escapades. There are few archers in all of Empiria who can stand toe-to-toe with Teo’s skills. A strong arm and a soft smile have earned this Champion the admiration of his rivals and comrades alike. While his gentle nature and good deeds have gained him the trust and love of the citizens of Tekovia. When all else fails, you can count on this honorable bowman to turn the tide of battle.

Bloodreaver
Terrifying ravagers of the seas. These bloodthirsty marauders' sole purpose is to overwhelm and overtake with shock and awe. Their savage tactics instill fear in all those who dare to face them on the field of battle. Making them highly efficient when sent as a boarding party onto an enemy vessel. They raze and pillage from town-to-town. Taking what they want and slaughtering those who would stand in their way. They are truly a devastating force of nature. One which is best not reckoned with.

Cobalt Skirmisher
The bulk of the Cobalt Shark Empire’s military. From patrolling the white beaches of Warfraine to protecting the merchant ships in the Diabora Isles. These seasoned soldiers are charged with executing the will of their warlord, whatever it may be. Such skilled warriors have garnered the respect of those all across Empiria due to their battle prowess at both land and sea.
“Tread warily in our waters, or face the wrath of the warriors of Warfraine!”
Tekovian Privateer
Wisened by their years, and hardened by the sea. These buccaneers are tasked with the elimination of enemy merchant vessels and warships alike. Actively disrupting the trade routes, and supply lines of their rivals. Their efforts do much to help maintain the Cobalt Shark Empire’s naval superiority. When the job is done they are rewarded with a hefty commission of the captured loot, for services rendered.

Shipwrecked Madman
Kings have power, merchants have gold, but only the luckiest among us can claim to have freedom. Once a competent seafarer of the Cobalt Shark fleet, this stranded survivor is now the embodiment of the Sharks' famed courage and adaptability. Ruler of his own island kingdom, his desperation and ferocity prove him a vicious opponent in combat. Like a shark fin circling its prey, the mere sight of this fighter means danger.

Seaborn Navigator
First in and first out, these slippery scallywags skulk in-and-out of port cities along the coasts of Empiria. Frequently sent on reconnaissance missions that relay important information back to their ship’s captain. They give word as to whether a city has potential as a new trade partner, or if it’s ripe for the taking. These nautical navigators always demand payment up front, naturally.
“Of course my map shows you passage through Drakenire coast! Safe passage? Now that’ll cost yah extra!”
Hunter Shark
For millennia, these creatures of the deep have been tamed and trained to aid their handlers in combat. They act as a unique naval cavalry unit, striking swiftly from below the ocean’s surface with razor-sharp teeth. Ripping chunks of wood from ships and flesh from bodies with equal ease. Adorned with Tekovian steel armor to protect them against attacks from above. You'd best think twice before setting foot onto sea, lest ye be dragged beneath the depths by these lurking beasts.
