Crimson Wolf Characters

Ven
A Father, warrior, and the last Paragon of Khin before The Great Fall. Ven filled his life with purpose; he wanted to make sure that when his time was up, the Crimson Wolf Empire would take the torch and prosper without him. For him, raising the pups to be fearless, strong, and disciplined was his sole obligation. While his tenure was wrought with scandal, with rumors floating around that he was fraternizing with an opposing empire's Paragon, he still led his pack with grace and dignity. Though he was challenged for his title of Paragon time and time again, his opponents would rest in the dirt all the same.
“The pack isn’t just one person. It’s all of us, and if one of us falters, then the whole pack feels it. So we must not falter! We must march onward with determination and fire within!
Viera Solefang
A wolf without a pack, Viera Solefang is loyal to none but the shadows she lurks in. She is the true embodiment of the Crimson Wolf oath: “Alone we’re strong, together we’re feared” because if you find this lone wolf with her pack, your best option is to run and beg forgiveness. Her knives are almost as sharp as her demeanor, and her words cut as deep as her blade. If you cross her, you'd best be prepared for both.
“Not the first time I’ve had a staff pointed at my face.”

Maximus Vel
Commonly known throughout Empiria as "Blur", Maximus Vel is a mysterious ex-lawman turned mercenary for hire. Infamous for his speed and wavering morality, he does what he thinks is right in the moment. Under the faint glow of the moon, Vel finds his prey with deadly precision. His agility and speed are unparalleled, like a blur in the night. Though stronger together, he alone can strike down an entire pack with a single dagger. Rumor has it, he goes by "Blur" to escape his family and deny any heritage that is forced upon him. He tries to do the right thing, but is constantly learning from his mistakes. But one thing is for sure, he is more than just a mystery. He is destined to become a Champion of the Four Empires.
“Viera. Stealing again, I see… Some things never change.”
Argent Sentinel
Warriors whose age has only sharpened their edge. It is tradition that any warrior who does not fall in battle one day joins the Argent battalion. These swordsmen are the last line of defense for Sentinels Rest. When not bearing their blades, they work as craftsmen, creating masterpieces with the coveted Crimson Wolf resource Ebonwood. These warriors are so disciplined that as you approach the mountains around Sentinel’s Rest, you might mistake the Argent Battalion as statues with them standing forever vigilant, watching over Lycania.
“A soldier’s duty isn’t done when they can no longer fight. A soldier’s duty is only done when they have left behind a better world than they found.”

Crimson Prowler
There is little in this world as blood-chilling as the unmistakable feeling that somebody is watching you - though in Zaia, you usually don't have to feel it too long before the hidden Prowler finishes the job. Sometimes referred to as the breath before the bite, these stealthy warriors hunt in packs and always go for the jugular. Long, steely claws slash ruthlessly and with precision, and superior tracking instincts mean they're never too far behind their prey. Try not to think about it too much when taking a late-night stroll through the woods - best to pretend you don't see the pair of yellow eyes peering through the underbrush.
"By the time you see red, it's too late."

Shadowtooth Pup
The Shadowtooth pup stalks patiently, awaiting the perfect time for her to make her mark. A formidable opponent on the field of battle, her hunger for the kill fuels her pack. Her stealthy abilities to lead her battalion are sometimes the difference between life and death for her pack, and this is a responsibility she fills with pride. While some would think they are merely a scout, they have been trained by some of the best warriors in all of Zaia. The future of Lycania is in their capable and bloody hands, and they intend to lead it to a brighter future than the present they grew up in.
“We are the future… And you? History won’t even remember you.”

Dire Wolf
A beast that is near extinction following The Great Fall. Young Dire Wolves used to be paired with a Crimson Wolf child before their fifth name day. From that day forward, the two were said to be linked, and when one would pass, the other would live with an enduring sense of incompleteness. The Dire wolf is a trusted companion and a feared foe. Its piercing howl in the night is but a beacon for its pack to unleash their deadly flurry of fangs and claws. Like the wild beasts they are, they show no mercy and leave nothing left to scavenge.
“With my dire wolf by my side, not even a Paragon could strike me down!”
